Portable Restroom Trailers at NBC

It seems that NBC Studios in NYC has been going through some major renovations lately. Among the changes are Studio 1A and Studio 6B.Most recent is the Today Show’s newly remodeled set. September 16, 2013 was TV nation’s first glance at the renovated studio since 2006. It now has a more modern, yet homey feel. Among the upgrades is a full 360-degree rotating set so the opening hosts can look out the widely recognized windows at the fans. Additionally, the Orange Room has a warmer feel for Carson Daly’s personal interviews, and Al Roker got new giant LED touch screen toys for his weather reports. If you haven’t yet seen the new Today Show studio, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.Another renovation is soon to come for NBC…The Tonight Show, which Jimmy Fallon will be taking over in 2014. Previously we had heard that NBC was going to dish out $25 million to remodel studios 6B and 8G into one. Apparently seven months was spent planning the mega studio that included a 400-seat theater with a balcony. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to the public, plans for the massive renovation were scrapped. Now, Fallon only gets studio 6B, seating for a 240-person audience, and a measly $5 million budget to do it with. But we’re convinced that the facelift the studio will get will be a good one. When it comes to set remodeling, NBC hasn’t let us down yet. While the studio 6B renovations are in progress, Portable Restroom Trailers will be on site! PRT has just sent a Luxury 10 restroom trailer to NBC Studios to provide a bathroom facility while under construction. This restroom trailer will ensure the high standards of the NBC family are kept. The Luxury 10 is a 10 unit restroom trailer that has a very large water tank to accommodate many flushes and hand washes. It is fully climate controlled for maximum comfort in any kind of weather conditions. There are four women’s stalls, and two men’s stalls, as well as four flushable urinals. Each suite has many elegantly upgraded, yet practical features, such as full length mirrors, granite countertops, wood-like flooring, and abundant recessed interior lighting. You can’t go wrong with this restroom trailer, which is why we have confidence that NBC will provide another fresh set.

Outdoor Fall Weddings with Restroom Trailers

Autumn is finally here! If you’re planning a fall wedding, consider making it an outdoor one. It’s easy to see how the changing scenery would complement an outdoor wedding. To make sure your outdoor wedding goes smoothly, here are 5 things to consider while planning:1. Rules and PermitsIf you are having your outdoor wedding in a public place like a park or a beach, make sure you get any necessary permits you will need. Each town may have their own rules about what is allowed at their parks. If you are serving alcohol some places may not allow it or they may require additional permits.2. Plan for the WeatherA fall wedding will have particular weather concerns for you and your guests. If you are dealing with colder weather you want to make sure your guests are comfortable. Consider providing blankets or space heaters to keep guests warm.If there is a chance it will be a windy day, plan accordingly. Tell your hair stylist you’ll be having an outdoor wedding so the bride and bridesmaid’s hair styles can be prepared. Decorations and food should be protected from wind and other elements.3. Decorate and Clean the SiteOne of the best things about an outdoor wedding is the natural decorations the location will provide. Especially in fall, the colors of the trees and landscape will create a beautiful backdrop. Go to the site ahead of time to make sure it is clean. If it is a public place, consider having your groomsmen or friends clean the area the day of the wedding.Use decorations to add to the venue or to cover up imperfections such as muddy areas, overgrown grass, or anything you can’t remove.4. Use Restroom TrailersIt is important to keep your guests comfortable. If your wedding venue is far away from any restrooms, or if the public restrooms available aren’t up to the quality of your wedding, you may consider portable restroom trailers. Our restrooms are ideal for the most formal weddings and will add a touch of comfort and class to the event. Our Luxury Restroom Rentals for Weddings can fit any size event and can match the overall look and elegance of your event.5. Have a Backup PlanNo matter how much you plan your day around the weather, sometimes it just won’t cooperate. Rain or other problems may make it impossible to stick with your outdoor venue. Be sure to have a backup venue already planned on. Tell all of your vendors and guests where the wedding will be held if the weather doesn’t hold up.If you decide to go with an outdoor wedding, be sure to plan ahead to make your day special. The beautiful fall foliage will add a whole new level of majesty to your special day.

Restroom Trailers Prevent Spreading of Germs

Flu season is approaching. It usually begins in the fall, peaks around January or February, and subsides in early spring. Though not everyone that catches the flu has the same effect from it, you can still take precautionary measures to try to keep it at bay. We’ve compiled some tips to help you practice good daily hygiene to stop the germs from spreading. As always, however, make sure you check with your physician as to the steps he/she suggests you take. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth since your hands are likely the biggest carrier of germs. Although it can be hard, try to keep little “thumb suckers” from putting dirty fingers in their mouths. Try not to share drinks or food from the same utensil. If you know of someone who is sick, try keep your distance. Cover your nose and mouth when you cough and sneeze. If you use a tissue to cover, make sure to throw it away afterwards. If you don’t have a tissue nearby, use the bend of your arm to cover, which will keep your hands germ free. If you are sick with a fever, wait at least 24 hours after the fever is gone (without meds) before heading out. Fevers generally mean you’re contagious. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy, exercise, and get plenty of sleep…these will all aid your body in staying healthy. Frequently wash your hands with soap and water, especially after being in public germ filled places. It’s also helpful to carry a small bottle of sanitizer with you for those times you can’t wash your hands. Not taking care to practice good hygiene could result in 1 out of 5 contracting the flu. Don’t let it be you. In fact, some physicians recommend that those most susceptible to the flu get the Flu Vaccine. If you have any questions about what you should do, talk to your doctor. They will know what’s best for you.Portable Restroom Trailers is aware of the many health risks associated with germs. That’s why we take extra measures to provide restroom trailers with the utmost sanitary conditions. Good hygiene is very important to us; so every trailer provides soap, warm running water, and paper towels for hand drying. The restroom trailers are made of easy to clean materials, and are climate controlled so there’s no chance for bacteria and germs to grow.Whether it’s flu season or not, practicing good hygiene and healthy habits are always best…here’s to your health!

For children and teens, school sports can be extremely beneficial to their emotional, physical, and educational development. Additionally, the physical activity can help them reduce stress and get a better night’s sleep.According to the University of Nevada, the sense of camaraderie that develops from joining a team can improve a student’s connection to the school.PhysicalIt’s recommended that children and teens get at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. Sports are a great way to ensure they remain healthy and active and fight childhood obesity.EducationalPennsylvania State University has found that enhanced blood flow throughout the body caused by regular physical activity can improve a child's mental sharpness and acuity. Also, most schools require students to maintain certain grades in order to participate in school sports. This gives them extra incentive and motivation to stick with their studies. For many student athletes, planning for this fall has taken place since the end of last season. Schools should do just as much planning and preparation for the athletes. Providing the best coaches, equipment, and facilities possible is vital to making sure the kids get the most out of their school sports experience.Unfortunately there are some factors that could ruin the school sports experience for your students. One is not having the proper facilities to make sure all students are comfortable. This can be a particular issue for girls’ sports or for female athletes playing on co-ed teams. Providing adequate male and female lockers and restrooms is vital to making sure everyone has a positive time. While it may be simpler for boys to do without outdoor restroom facilities, girls may be more uncomfortable. For outdoor sports such as football, soccer, and lacrosse, your school may need restroom trailers to provide restroom access during practices and games. Not only do they add a level of comfort to all players and fans, they will ensure everyone is comfortable enough to keep coming back year after year. With all of the benefits that school sports offer children, it’s vital that they have a great experience every year. It’s the job of the administrators, teachers, and coaches to make sure the kids have everything they need to feel safe and secure and keep reaping the benefits of their favorite sport.

The New GoLo Restroom Trailer

While we introduced the new trailer, LULU, to our fleet this past spring, we now have another to introduce...the new GoLo restroom trailer! The GoLo restroom trailer is different than other restroom trailers. The main feature is its ability to lower to the ground in minutes, which makes it easier and safer for younger and older guests using it. The lowering quality of this trailer eliminates the need for high steps, railings, or additional landings. And for the ADA GoLo restroom trailers, it means a lower, safer, wheelchair accessible ramp and entrance. The GoLo patent-pending suspension system makes this restroom trailer one of the best in its class. It uses an air ride suspension rather than a hydraulic system. Air ride suspension systems tend to be more cost effective, easier to maintain, as well as require less maintenance, and last longer. They also provide a smoother transition to the ground. Not only is the new GoLo restroom trailer known for its lowering feature, but it also provides a spacious luxurious interior. It is fully climate controlled and offers an option for a surround sound system. Additionally, it includes granite countertops, porcelain toilets, and full luxury vanities and mirrors, great for any event at any time of the year. The aluminum material that the GoLo restroom trailers are made of makes them easy to clean and harder for annoying pests to penetrate. The aluminum is non-corrosive, which also helps them last longer. They are attractive, as well as extremely functional and practical. We are proud to introduce a whole new GoLo restroom trailer inventory to our fleet! We strive to offer as many options and solutions to our guests as possible. Check out the entire line of GoLo trailers on our website.
