While working in the restroom trailer industry, we have come across a large number of unique businesses and organizations. No matter where the job leads us, we are always eager to discover what other industries are doing. This is a truly special experience when working with nonprofit organizations. Every year, we are introduced to a new organization that is doing something unique, necessary, and outstanding for their community, and supporting their cause is an honor and reward for us.
We recently met a nonprofit group called Be A Blessing Birmingham, a local group that prides itself on supporting their local homeless community. Read a little bit about them:
“In 2013, Erica Robbins moved to downtown Birmingham. Her home had a view of the highway, but it was what was happening under the highway that caught her attention. Robbins would look out of her window and notice someone sitting under the bridge. Her caring heart led her to check on him.
The man under the bridge had served in the military, was married, and had children. After returning home from war, he struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder. He was unable to be confined to small spaces. He only felt comfortable outside. Robbins began to call him neighbor, affectionately.
After volunteering at shelters, Robbins felt unfulfilled. She used her social media to ask friends and family to help collect essential hygiene items. She would drive around the city looking for people who needed donations. Eventually, they began looking for her. This was the beginning of Be A Blessing Birmingham.”
When Be A Blessing called us needing an ADA restroom trailer that could broaden the goods and services they offer to those most in need, we were eager to assist them.

The exterior is clean and durable, built with scratch and dent-proof material. Each suite is completely private with separate entrances for each. Guests are greeted with a clean interior, each featuring a shower, flushable china toilet, sink vanity, and mirror.
The ADA suite, which is also spacious enough to double as a family restroom suite, is designed to make both the shower and toilet accessible for all with disabilities. The unit is equipped with grab rails for further assistance. The ADA restroom suite can also lower to the ground with the touch of a button, making access easy and allowing for a shorter ramp that takes up a much smaller footprint.
To ensure restroom users are always comfortable, our ADA restroom trailers are equipped with air conditioning and heat strips to guarantee that the temperature stays comfortable no matter what outside weather is like. This trailer is equipped to withstand extreme temperatures, with insulated walls and ceiling further aid in maintaining a comfortable interior temperature.
This ADA restroom trailer is now being used to provide welcome bathrooms and showers for a community that needs it most in the Birmingham community.
