“The largest unincorporated, deed-restricted manufactured home community and recreation district, located in southern Brevard County, Florida. The population reported from the 2010 United States Census was 9,808. The nearest commercial area is Sebastian, FL, located in Indian River County.
In 1968, the Gulf Acceptance Corporation, purchased the original one thousand acres that would become known as Barefoot Bay. With that, the vision for a Polynesian themed recreation community had begun.
Over the last 40 years, Barefoot Bay has continued to grow and expand. Today the community has three pools, a Lounge, the 19th Hole sports bar and restaurant, as well as an array of entertainment and recreational activities. Welcome to Barefoot Bay, the perfect place to live, eat and play!”
After hearing all about their elegant atmosphere, and keeping in mind their desire to be inclusive, we went to our inventory to find the perfect ADA-compliant portable restroom for them.
A Solution with ADA Restrooms
After collaborating with Barefoot Bay managers, we discovered that the best fit for their needs was the ADA +2 Station Oahu Series. This ADA restroom is 22 feet long and perfectly equipped to handle medium volume use with a 105 gallon fresh water tank and 300 gallon waste tank.
The Oahu Series ADA Restrooms include one ADA-compliant suite and twoadditional unisex suites. Inside of the unit, visitors will find enough room for a full 360 degree turn in a wheelchair. The suite also includes an ADA-compliant shower, grab rails for safety, and an accessible suite.
The unisex suites of this ADA restroom trailer are equipped with a flushable toilet, shatterproof mirror, and sink vanity. We take pride in our interior design, using tasteful colors and designer floors and decor to ensure that users have an elevated experience.
The entire restroom trailer has insulated walls and ceiling to maintain a comfortable interior temperature. Additionally, to aid in climate control, the unit is equipped with air conditioning and heat strips, ensuring that the temperature stays comfortable no matter what outdoor weather is like.
The exterior is built to last with dent-preventing material. We ensure that safe access into this ADA restroom is a priority with ample porch lighting and sturdy, aluminum steps and rails. The design is sleek and fits in with any atmosphere, from grassroots to upscale.
