A Restroom Trailer for the FLETC

The United States Borer Patrol guards 6,000 miles of land bordering Mexico and Canada, as well as 2,000 miles of coastal waters around Florida and the island of Puerto Rico. In order to be able to sufficiently protect the borders, agents must make it through extensive physical training and complete a specialized course program. This is done at one of the many Federal Law Enforcement Training Center locations. For The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) to function smoothly and efficiently there must be enough accommodations to support everyone. In order to solve the problem, Pacific Tech Construction purchased a used 2013 6-Station Restroom Trailer with an Arctic Package from Portable Restroom Trailers. It is located on the grounds of the training center. To provide a more permanent and secure atmosphere, the restroom trailer will hook up to the sewer line. This will make maintenance easier and more convenient. The Arctic Package is great for restroom trailers that are located in climates with freezing temperatures because it adds protection for year-round use. The winterization package provides waste tank thermal protection to keep the pipes from freezing. Some arctic packages include options like baseboard heat or hot air, heated seat covers, and in some luxury trailers, a working fireplace. In this case, however, the training facility has chosen to re-do the plumbing in the restroom trailer themselves to keep it simple and low cost. But rest assured the six private toilets of this restroom trailer will be safe, warm, and comfortable during the cold winter months. If you are in need of a restroom trailer to use during the winter, Portable Restroom Trailers can provide you with an Arctic Package to keep your portable restrooms, guests, employees, or athletes safe and warm.

A Restroom Trailer for the Construction Crew at Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, is located in Chicago, Illinois and was built in 1914. It wasn’t until 1927 that it officially became known as Wrigley Field. Prior to that it had been known as Weeghman Park and Cubs Park. Wrigley Field is most known for three iconic features. The first feature is the ivy covered brick outfield. The ivy was first planted in 1937 by general manager Bill Veeck in an effort to “beautify” the bleachers. Since then the ivy has remained an outfield attraction. The red marquee is also one of the most familiar external structures at Wrigley Field. It was installed in 1934 and started out green. It was then changed to blue and finally in March 1960 made the famous red it is now. The third renowned feature of the park is the hand turned scoreboard. Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park are the only two ball parks that still use hand-turned scoreboards.Chicago’s famous ballpark is now undergoing some renovations. In order to supply restrooms for the workers, a restroom trailer was purchased by Pepper Construction, located in Chicago, but will be stationed at the ballpark. The portable restroom was customized in forest green to match the ambiance of the ballpark. It is a 3-Unit Elite series trailer with an arctic package. It is equipped with two toilets and one urinal, the perfect size for use by the construction crew. The Elite series provides comfort and convenience while remaining clean, safe, and efficient. The arctic package is essential since the fall and winter months are fast approaching. This package protects the pipes and tanks from freezing throughout the windy, chilly months. The trailers are made with heating ducts throughout the trailer, as well as special antifreeze gel that flows through the pipes to prevent freezing. When the cold settles in, the arctic package will make it possible for the renovations to continue safely and comfortably.Portable Restroom Trailers is proud to be able to help with the renovations of such an iconic establishment.

Military Park Uses Restroom Trailers for Big Weekend

This month, Portable Restroom Trailers provided facility services to Kings Mountain National Military Park. Two of our restroom trailers will help the park with the thousands of visitors it receives to the National Military Park and the Military Cemetery. Kings Mountain National Military Park, located near Blacksburg, SC was established to commemorate the Battle of Kings Mountain. During the Revolutionary War, the American Patriots won a pivotal victory against American Loyalists. The battle, fought in 1780, was unique as it was one of the few battles fought entirely by Americans, with no assistance from British troops. The National Military Park was established in 1931 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. Visitors to the park can appreciate many historical demonstrations, films, and a 1.5 mile battlefield trail. Other special events are held throughout the year to educate visitors on military and life skills and to honor the losses during the battle. The arrival of two restroom trailers in September comes at an opportune time. On October 7th, the Park will hold its annual ceremony on the anniversary of the 1780 battle. The day includes a wreath laying ceremony at the Kings Mountain Monument and a program in the amphitheatre. All weekend, guests will be able to experience musket and rifle demonstrations, children’s militia drills, 18th century medicine, cooking and music demonstrations, and more. To make sure no one is deprived of experiencing the history of Kings Mountain, the Military Park’s facilities are completely wheelchair accessible. This means that when they added additional restrooms with one of our restroom trailers, wheelchair accessibility was a necessity. The Comfort Series Elite ADA Plus 2 is one of our most popular handicap accessible restroom trailers. It includes a unisex ADA restroom plus two individual restroom suites to accommodate all guests. Our ADA-compliant restroom trailers can also come with a unique hydraulics system that allows the entire restroom trailer and ramp to lower to the ground. This design adds an extra level of comfort for handicapped guests as it results in shorter ramps and a smaller overall footprint. PRT is proud to aid Hydra Engineering in honoring the sacrifices made at Kings Mountain and the great work the National Military Park continues to do.

Restroom Trailer Helps Break Ground

With such great clients and such high end restroom trailers, we often get the opportunity to provide facilities for state officials, governors, and even presidents. Last Wednesday was no exception as we provided a restroom trailer at a ground breaking ceremony in Lordstown, Ohio. The event, which was hosted by the Regional Chamber in Youngstown Warren Area in Ohio, was attended by Lt. Governor Mary Taylor. With Ohio’s and Taylor’s goal of becoming more job and business friendly, the ground breaking of the new Matalco Inc. Aluminum Facility in Lordstown was a step in that direction.Matalco is a leading producer of high-quality extrusion grade billet and forging stock. They will invest more than $100 million in a 200,000 square foot plant that will provide 60-80 full-time jobs.“The Matalco announcement has been a long time coming as the Chamber has been working with Matalco leadership for over a year and a half,” said Sarah Boyarko, the Chamber’s vice president for Economic Development, North America. The ground breaking ceremony, held last Wednesday, September 17th, was attended by Matalco representatives, members of the Regional Chamber, and other state officials. In order to provide facilities for the outdoor event, the Chamber looked to Portable Restroom Trailers.Knowing that the attendees would be such important members of the community, the organizers opted for a Comfort Series Elite 3 Station portable restroom trailer to accommodate the high end guests that would be using it. The restroom trailer has 3 separate restroom suites to give each guest a private and comfortable restroom experience.Restroom trailers are ideal for corporate or government events. Ribbon cuttings, ground breaking ceremonies, or other outdoor events don’t need to lose their upscale and prestigious feel because of uncomfortable or unsanitary portable toilets. Adding a portable restroom trailer to your outdoor event will ensure that your guests are comfortable and that they speak fondly about your event. We’re looking forward to assisting Matalco Inc. and Lordstown, Ohio as they both continue to grow and develop!
