The Island View Casino Resort in Gulfport, Mississippi contacted Portable Restroom Trailers, LLC several months back in the midst of a large-scale construction project. The luxury casino and resort was planning for their new Beach Tower, set to open May 1, 2015, and was in search of a semi-permanent restroom facility. While many locations seek portable restrooms for rent during the construction phase, Island View was looking to purchase a long-term, flexible solution to restroom facilities once the new Tower opened.
Anticipated to be a highlight along the Gulf Coast, the extravagant new Beach Tower will feature 8 restaurants, a spa, beachside bar, and gift shop. Rooms will offer high-end amenities including free Wi-Fi, granite top furniture, pillow top mattresses, flat panel LCD screen TVs, and much more. In addition, there will also be a family-friendly pool.
Featuring direct beach access, something no other casino on the Coast offers, the family-friendly beachside pool will be a premier amenity. To enhance their guests’ experience, Island View was looking for a unique solution to restroom facilities poolside. They contacted Portable Restroom Trailers, and we helped them customize a trailer that met their specific needs and requirements.
The Island View Casino Resort trailer includes 7 restroom stations and an ADA-compliant restroom. The Executive Series unit includes a women’s suite and a men’s suite, each with separate entrances. The women’s suite is located on the left and has 3 spacious, private stalls and a large double vanity. On the right, the men’s suite has 2 private stalls, 2 urinals with privacy dividers, and a large double vanity. That section of the trailer was opened up during the design process to allow more walking space in the men’s room. Located in the center of the trailer is a unisex, ADA restroom. Fully ADA-compliant for guests with physical limitations, this spacious restroom is also great for families traveling with kids and babies.
The unit will be placed in a tight space, right up against an inclined sidewalk so it is convenient for poolside guests. It will also be enclosed, offering the resort a temporarily solution with long-term results. Guests will feel as if they’re using an in-place, permanent restroom facility, when in fact they’re portable restrooms. In the event that the trailer needs to be moved down the road, there is a removable hitch the resort can re-attach and use to reposition the unit.
The interior of the trailer is just as impressive as the exterior’s integration into the location. Portable Restroom Trailers worked closely with 2 interior designers from the Island View Casino Resort to match the same color tones and materials used in the casino. This carries the luxurious look and feel outside of the casino and ties the restroom trailer in nicely with the resort. The restroom trailer is also fully air-conditioned, offering all the comforts of home.
