Portable Restroom Trailers

Restroom Trailers and Major League Baseball

America’s pastime of baseball is a game with a long, rich history and a passionate fan base. One of the best parts of seeing a game is getting to experience it in one of the beautiful stadiums across the country.Unfortunately, for many ball parks, it can be difficult to keep up with the enormous crowds the games attract. Many park restroom facilities are strained to support the number of people that attend each game. Giving fans a comfortable and enjoyable game day experience is one of the biggest priorities of ball park owners.[caption id="attachment_10098" align="alignright" width="321"] To further appeal to the look and feel of the stadium, the organization gave the restroom trailer a custom paint job on the exterior to match the team’s colors.[/caption]Portable Restroom Trailers recently had the opportunity to help one of America’s ball parks by providing a restroom trailer to supplement the stadium’s existing restroom facilities. The restroom trailer will permanently fill a need for additional restrooms in the stadium parking lot.For stadiums or other buildings that are expanding faster than they can build, buying restroom trailers is an excellent, cost-effective option. Most professional baseball teams have had to build newer, updated stadiums to fill a growing fan base, but none of them can be expected to build a new stadium every year, or even every decade. We were able to work with the northwestern team to find a used portable restroom that was a good fit for them. Since their visitors are primarily men, we chose a restroom trailer with 9 stations for men and 2 for women. The trailer they purchased also happened to be one used at The Masters tournament, another predominately male event.Especially on hot summer days (the kind perfect for a ball game) no one wants to have to deal with a porta-potty. By providing their guests with a comfortable, safe restroom facility, they were able to make sure everyone enjoys the game, as well as extend the life of their ball park.Portable Restroom Trailers is proud to continue to support sporting events nationally and internationally. Other professional sports we have aided include PGA, LPGA, Kentucky Derby, NASCAR and several national marathons. We wish the MLB and its fans a great rest of the season!

Portable Restroom Trailers Goes to Camp

One Step Summer Camp is a kid’s camp located on Lake Geneva in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. It’s a little extra special: this camp is for children battling cancer. The concept of this camp is that just because a child has cancer doesn’t mean that he or she can’t get the same childhood experiences and memories that other kids have. The summer camp has many different programs ranging from standard summer camp to a camp that focuses on water sports or even one that focuses on adventuring. The programs are for children from seven years old to nineteen years old so that everyone has the opportunity to make friends and have fun with other kids that understand what they are going through. As summer camps are starting this month one hundred more kids have signed up for the camp and more kids means more restroom needs. With the influx of campers the camp decided to purchase two more restroom trailers from Portable Restroom Trailers. They have purchased an 8 unit shower combo trailer and a 12ft ADA trailer. The trailers provide a clean, safe and comfortable restroom for both the campers and the counselors. The shower trailer has toilets as well as showers. Because the camp is on a lake the shower trailer is the perfect choice because it gives the kids a private place to rinse of after a fun filled day of activities. The camp also bought a smaller ADA compliant trailer. Our ADA restroom trailers provide the same amenities as all our other restroom trailers with an added bonus of being handicap accessible. The ADA trailers have a no slip ramp and the restroom is large enough for a full 360 degree rotation of a wheelchair. These features provide a safe portable restroom for the kids that may be in a wheelchair or the kids that have limitations because of certain cancers.Imagine knowing that your kids have the benefit of a great summer camp, a clean, safe, private and comfortable restroom, and they are at a lake! We are proud to help a camp that has such a great mission. Keep it up One Step Summer camp!

Conventions, Sisterhoods and Restroom Trailers

This weekend Portable Restroom Trailers will be supplying restrooms for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority international conference. The conference, also known as the Boule, is being held this year at the Charlotte Convention Center.Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is a national corporation that contains thousands of college-trained women from over four hundred higher education institutions. It was founded in 1908 at Howard University. The 66th Boule, held July 12th-18th, will bring together over 12,000 people from the AKA community. The event will include a networking career fair, the second biennial golf classic, and a big dinner on the 17th.For the conference, Alpha Kappa Alpha needed additional restroom facilities to support their events such as the golf classic. From our selection of portable restroom rentals we were able to provide them with a Comfort Elite 3 Beach package trailer. For a sorority event we naturally wanted to make sure there were 2 women’s restroom suites and 1 men’s restroom. To match the classy tone of the AKA Boule, we made sure the restroom trailer had a luxurious interior. With 4 foot tall vanity mirrors and granite style countertops it is sure to impress every guest. Even visitors not used to Charlotte’s summer heat will be comfortable with the extra-large air conditioner. For older guests, the portable restroom is a low profile unit. This means it is built to be low to the ground with short steps into the bathroom. The full landing and double handrails make it easy to get into. For added safety, the outside has LED lights to make the restroom trailer accessible even at night. We hope Alpha Kappa Alpha’s biennial convention goes off beautifully next week. I’m sure the local sorority chapters will show their visiting sorority members a fantastic time in the city of Charlotte.

Portable Restroom Trailers goes to Wisconsin

Lake Geneva is a beautiful and serene lake located in south Wisconsin, less than ten miles from Illinois. There was a devastating fire at Lake Geneva that destroyed a permanent restroom facility. Rebuilding was not a possible solution at the time. To move forward, the community of Lake Geneva needed a quick and quality solution that could serve as a long term facility. Based on these ramifications the best option was to buy a restroom trailer from Portable Restroom Trailers! Not only will the trailer be used as a long term facility for everyone at the lake, it is also being repurposed to serve as a facility for kids camps. Lake Geneva Youth Camp offers camps for all ages throughout the summer. In just the month of July there are many week-long camp options. From July 2nd-5th there is a camp called Escape on the Lake. This camp is a music based family camp for all ages. There are traditional outdoor activities as well as music performances and workshops for musicians. July 6th-12th is the Jr. Boys camp for boys in grade 3-6. This week camp is full of fun sports, activities, and games that the boys will love. The following week, July 13th-16th, is the Jr. High Coed camp for grades 6-9. This week will be full of competitions, activities, games and making new friends. There are even day camps every week for the kids who want to sleep in their own bed.The trailer that is going to the conference center this week is a 6 unit shower combo that was lightly used by the Championship Americus Racing team last year. The restroom trailer will have 6 toilets, as well as showers! This is perfect for a lake or beach setting. It provides swimmers with a clean, comfortable, and private place to rinse off after a long and beautiful day at the lake. It is also perfect for camps because kids need a clean and private facility that will be comfortable for them when they are away from home. Additionally, this trailer can handle up to one hundred and twenty five guests, so plenty of space will not be a problem with this portable restroom. At Portable Restroom Trailers we hope that the community of Lake Geneva can overcome this tragedy and continue to provide kids and adults with a fun and safe place to be.

Restroom Trailers Can Handle the Wild

Because our trailers are so much more upscale than traditional portable restrooms, it can be easy to forget how rugged and durable they are. All of our units are built to stand up to high traffic and be easily maintained in rough conditions. An excellent example of this is the portable restroom we recently sent to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, Texas. It is an endangered species research and conversation center that offers guided and self-guided tours to thousands of guests every year. Last weekend marked their 30th year of conservation![caption id="attachment_9802" align="alignright" width="140"] Oryx - Sabre Antelope at the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center[/caption]Fossil Rim Wildlife Center’s 1,700 acres of facilities and wildlife, including a 9.5 mile driving tour gave it unique restroom facility needs. Luckily, with a wide variety of trailer options, we were able to find a used restroom trailer that fit their needs without costing them too much money. One of the biggest concerns with the wildlife center was that it was outside in Texas and it was in the wild. That meant high summer temperatures and guests tracking in lots of dirt. The 9-unit restroom trailer we provided them is fully climate controlled with air conditioning. It also has a special “hose out” interior. This means it can be completely cleaned with a hose without getting damaged and still look great. Having an easy way to keep their restrooms clean no matter how many guests they have will be a huge help to the wildlife center staff.Another aspect we looked at was the kind of guests the wildlife center would be catering to. On any given day Fossil Rim could see a wide variety of visitors but one thing was sure, it would see plenty of families. To make sure the families have everything they need, both the men and women’s restrooms have baby changing stations. Keeping their little ones clean and well-cared for during a full day at Fossil Rim is a huge plus for visiting families. To make the restroom trailer even more customizable, Fossil Rim has the ability to change it based on who is coming to the park that day. Their 9-toilet portable restroom is convertible! The staff can easily close doors to choose how many of the 9-units will be on the men’s side and how many will be on the women’s side. No matter what kind of groups visit the wildlife center each day, they will be fully prepared to handle it.Portable Restroom Trailers sees its wide variety of specialized trailers as a huge benefit to our customers. No matter what your specific needs are, we can find a restroom trailer to fit those needs. If our enormous inventory of new and used trailers can’t provide what you’re looking for, we can work with you to custom build something that does.Wishing the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center another 30 successful years!

Restroom Trailers Goes to New Jersey

If you’ve driven through New Jersey, you’ve most likely driven on the Garden State Parkway. The Parkway is the main road used for transportation in New Jersey, which extends from the northern most tip to the southernmost tip. Because the Parkway is such a vital part of the state, there is usually construction going on to make it a better, safer road.  There are three construction projects that will be going on in 2014 on the Parkway. One area of construction is in Bergen County at exit 163 off the Parkway.  This exit is for Route 17 and currently these exit ramps are on the left side of the highway. Beginning this year, construction will be done to move the exit ramps from the left side of the highway to the right side of the highway. Doing this will create more uniformity throughout the exits as well as realign the Parkway to the existing median. The next site of construction is in Middlesex County at exit 125. A new waterfront development being built at this exit, but because of the increase in traffic to this new development and to Chevalier Avenue, new ramps will be added to the Parkway going northbound and southbound. The new ramps will allow full access to the area. There is also some major construction in Atlantic County.  The first change is an addition of a deceleration lane going southbound on the Parkway. This will create a safer experience when exiting the Parkway. At exit 36, an acceleration lane will be added on Tilton Road which will allow for a safer entry onto the Parkway. Finally, at exits 37 and 38 for the Atlantic City Expressway, construction will separate traffic that is entering and exiting the Parkway.Lastly, in Union, NJ at the Vauxhall Rest area, a restroom trailer will be provided for those traveling.  It is an eleven station portable restroom. This trailer has ten stalls, as well as three urinals, and is commercial grade. It is a great alternative to porta-potties because it is clean and efficient like permanent restrooms. This restroom trailer was also equipped with high traffic steps instead of the traditional trailer steps in order to accommodate the large number of travelers that will be using this restroom trailer.
