Portable Restroom Trailers

Portable Restroom Trailers goes to Wisconsin

Lake Geneva is a beautiful and serene lake located in south Wisconsin, less than ten miles from Illinois. There was a devastating fire at Lake Geneva that destroyed a permanent restroom facility. Rebuilding was not a possible solution at the time. To move forward, the community of Lake Geneva needed a quick and quality solution that could serve as a long term facility. Based on these ramifications the best option was to buy a restroom trailer from Portable Restroom Trailers! Not only will the trailer be used as a long term facility for everyone at the lake, it is also being repurposed to serve as a facility for kids camps. Lake Geneva Youth Camp offers camps for all ages throughout the summer. In just the month of July there are many week-long camp options. From July 2nd-5th there is a camp called Escape on the Lake. This camp is a music based family camp for all ages. There are traditional outdoor activities as well as music performances and workshops for musicians. July 6th-12th is the Jr. Boys camp for boys in grade 3-6. This week camp is full of fun sports, activities, and games that the boys will love. The following week, July 13th-16th, is the Jr. High Coed camp for grades 6-9. This week will be full of competitions, activities, games and making new friends. There are even day camps every week for the kids who want to sleep in their own bed.The trailer that is going to the conference center this week is a 6 unit shower combo that was lightly used by the Championship Americus Racing team last year. The restroom trailer will have 6 toilets, as well as showers! This is perfect for a lake or beach setting. It provides swimmers with a clean, comfortable, and private place to rinse off after a long and beautiful day at the lake. It is also perfect for camps because kids need a clean and private facility that will be comfortable for them when they are away from home. Additionally, this trailer can handle up to one hundred and twenty five guests, so plenty of space will not be a problem with this portable restroom. At Portable Restroom Trailers we hope that the community of Lake Geneva can overcome this tragedy and continue to provide kids and adults with a fun and safe place to be.

Restroom Trailers Can Handle the Wild

Because our trailers are so much more upscale than traditional portable restrooms, it can be easy to forget how rugged and durable they are. All of our units are built to stand up to high traffic and be easily maintained in rough conditions. An excellent example of this is the portable restroom we recently sent to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, Texas. It is an endangered species research and conversation center that offers guided and self-guided tours to thousands of guests every year. Last weekend marked their 30th year of conservation![caption id="attachment_9802" align="alignright" width="140"] Oryx - Sabre Antelope at the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center[/caption]Fossil Rim Wildlife Center’s 1,700 acres of facilities and wildlife, including a 9.5 mile driving tour gave it unique restroom facility needs. Luckily, with a wide variety of trailer options, we were able to find a used restroom trailer that fit their needs without costing them too much money. One of the biggest concerns with the wildlife center was that it was outside in Texas and it was in the wild. That meant high summer temperatures and guests tracking in lots of dirt. The 9-unit restroom trailer we provided them is fully climate controlled with air conditioning. It also has a special “hose out” interior. This means it can be completely cleaned with a hose without getting damaged and still look great. Having an easy way to keep their restrooms clean no matter how many guests they have will be a huge help to the wildlife center staff.Another aspect we looked at was the kind of guests the wildlife center would be catering to. On any given day Fossil Rim could see a wide variety of visitors but one thing was sure, it would see plenty of families. To make sure the families have everything they need, both the men and women’s restrooms have baby changing stations. Keeping their little ones clean and well-cared for during a full day at Fossil Rim is a huge plus for visiting families. To make the restroom trailer even more customizable, Fossil Rim has the ability to change it based on who is coming to the park that day. Their 9-toilet portable restroom is convertible! The staff can easily close doors to choose how many of the 9-units will be on the men’s side and how many will be on the women’s side. No matter what kind of groups visit the wildlife center each day, they will be fully prepared to handle it.Portable Restroom Trailers sees its wide variety of specialized trailers as a huge benefit to our customers. No matter what your specific needs are, we can find a restroom trailer to fit those needs. If our enormous inventory of new and used trailers can’t provide what you’re looking for, we can work with you to custom build something that does.Wishing the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center another 30 successful years!

Restroom Trailers Goes to New Jersey

If you’ve driven through New Jersey, you’ve most likely driven on the Garden State Parkway. The Parkway is the main road used for transportation in New Jersey, which extends from the northern most tip to the southernmost tip. Because the Parkway is such a vital part of the state, there is usually construction going on to make it a better, safer road.  There are three construction projects that will be going on in 2014 on the Parkway. One area of construction is in Bergen County at exit 163 off the Parkway.  This exit is for Route 17 and currently these exit ramps are on the left side of the highway. Beginning this year, construction will be done to move the exit ramps from the left side of the highway to the right side of the highway. Doing this will create more uniformity throughout the exits as well as realign the Parkway to the existing median. The next site of construction is in Middlesex County at exit 125. A new waterfront development being built at this exit, but because of the increase in traffic to this new development and to Chevalier Avenue, new ramps will be added to the Parkway going northbound and southbound. The new ramps will allow full access to the area. There is also some major construction in Atlantic County.  The first change is an addition of a deceleration lane going southbound on the Parkway. This will create a safer experience when exiting the Parkway. At exit 36, an acceleration lane will be added on Tilton Road which will allow for a safer entry onto the Parkway. Finally, at exits 37 and 38 for the Atlantic City Expressway, construction will separate traffic that is entering and exiting the Parkway.Lastly, in Union, NJ at the Vauxhall Rest area, a restroom trailer will be provided for those traveling.  It is an eleven station portable restroom. This trailer has ten stalls, as well as three urinals, and is commercial grade. It is a great alternative to porta-potties because it is clean and efficient like permanent restrooms. This restroom trailer was also equipped with high traffic steps instead of the traditional trailer steps in order to accommodate the large number of travelers that will be using this restroom trailer.

Portable Restrooms Takes it to the Street Fairs

What are you doing this Friday night? If you live in Belmont, NC you’re probably heading downtown for Friday Night Live! Friday Night Live is a street fair/dance party that takes place every other Friday during the summer. Several streets are closed to make room for the free live music playing from 7-10PM.This week’s concert, on June 20th, is sponsored by Wilbert Plastic Services. They are combining the Friday Night Live event with their annual company picnic to provide a fun atmosphere for their employees, clients, vendors, and the Belmont community. The band this week is Coastline! This week in particular is expected to draw crowds of 15,000-20,000 people. Usually Friday Night Live only provides a few porta-potties for the thousands of guests. This situation has drawn complaints from the crowds. With the temperature in previous years rising between 97 and 104 degrees, the chemicals in the porta-potties, along with the heat and long lines can make guests uncomfortable. This year to show how much they care about their attendees, Wilbert Plastic Services decided to upgrade the restroom facilities to a restroom trailer. Portable Restroom Trailers will be delivering our ADA Plus 2 Station Beach Package unit. It is the ideal small unit to provide portable restrooms with wheelchair access and separate private restrooms for men and women. The restroom trailers are also finished with an upscale interior to fit the feel of the company event. With past temperatures rising above 100 degrees, it was especially important to make sure the restroom trailers are fully air conditioned. Since the Friday Night Live location doesn’t have hookups for water or power, the restroom trailer is equipped with a generator and a water tank. This will ensure the restrooms have lights, fully functional sinks, and flushable toilets for the entire event. For events looking to upgrade the comfort and style of their restrooms without breaking the budget, this restroom trailer is a great solution. We hope the employees and friends of Wilbert Plastic Services enjoy their company picnic and we hope all of the guests of Friday Night Live have a great night!

Restroom Trailers: The New Trend in Towns and Cities

Portable restroom trailers are a fast growing alternative to porta-potties. They maintain their cleanliness and can be ordered in any size to fit specific needs. Another reason restroom trailers are a great solution is because they can be relocated to storage in an emergency but used as an emergency facility if needed. Many cities are making the switch to ADA compliant restroom trailers so that their municipalities can have portable, clean, and safe accommodations on hand. ADA restroom trailers are handicap accessible and are compliant with government requirements. An ADA+10 portable restroom is a large sized trailer that has many benefits. This trailer is good for large crowds or events where there will be over 750 guests. In each unit there are eight toilets and three urinals. Stony Brook, NY has had theirs for a year and is grateful to have it. Another popular unit is the ADA+6 trailer. It is smaller than the ADA+10 but is still considered to be a large trailer and can be used for events with up to 750 people. In each restroom trailer there are six toilets and two urinals. Goodlettsville, TN just ordered one of these trailers and Danville, IA has been successfully using theirs for a year. If a small trailer is necessary, for less than 350 people, than an ADA+2 restroom trailer is a good choice for you. These trailers have three toilets and one urinal. Shenandoah, TX ordered one and Spalding, GA received theirs a month ago. Two of our beach package units went to Key West, FL a year ago as a facility solution. Their sports complex permanent restrooms needed to be renovated, but they decided it was much more efficient to use a restroom trailer instead. Restroom trailers can be used in different ways, such as in parks, marinas, or in other community settings as another form of a restroom. They can also be used for specific city events or celebrations. In addition to providing convenient, easy, and sanitary conditions, portable restroom trailers hold their value so they are a cost efficient solution for any budget. No matter what your needs are we'll find a portable restroom for you.

Portable Restroom Trailers at the Belmont Stakes!

The Belmont Stakes is a thoroughbred horse race that occurs every June at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. This is the third and final race of the U.S. Triple Crown, following the Kentucky Derby and The Preakness Stakes. Not only is this race the last but it is also the longest leg of the Triple Crown with a length of one and a half miles. This year The Belmont Stakes will be extra popular do to the possible Triple Crown Winner! California Chrome won both the Kentucky Derby and The Preakness Stakes; this means that if he wins The Belmont Stakes he will be the first winner of the Triple Crown since Affirmed in 1978. The race is taking place this Saturday, June 7th and Portable Restroom Trailers will be there! The custom portable restroom that was purchased is a 12ft Forest River 2-unit trailer with one restroom for men and one for women. The restroom trailer includes flushable china toilets with auto flush urinals on the men’s side, a full vanity, granite style counter tops, full hand wash with a timed water flow which saves water, and through-the-counter waste baskets. The portable trailer is fully climate controlled to include both air conditioning and heat. The outside lighting and double handrails make the entry steps easy to manage for all ages.  The doors are lockable and have a LED light indicator of occupancy for extra safety. There is one distinct difference from other restroom trailers…no waste tank. Instead, this special restroom trailer is hooked up directly to the sewer and has a full flush system. This requires less maintenance and cuts expenses because a pumper service isn’t needed. The portable restroom is placed near the playground area of the race park. This is extremely beneficial because it’s important to have restrooms close by in case of a bathroom emergency when little ones are playing. The portable restroom unit offers privacy and plenty of space for parents to accompany kids into the restroom. Providing a restroom trailer like this creates an environment that is just as nice, safe, and private as the restroom in your own home, but is exactly where you need it to be when you need it.
