Yesterday was the first day of the 2014 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event (RK3DE) in Lexington, KY at the Kentucky Horse Park. The RK3DE is the only four star event, which is the highest level of competition, that runs for three days in the Western Hemisphere. Here, the horse and rider teams will be training and competing to represent their countries on both the National and Olympic level. But because this event is so elite, just finishing sets the competitors apart and launches them into a select group of riders.
