Why We're Thankful at Portable Restroom Trailers
Thanksgiving is one of those important holidays that causes all of us to pause and think about what we have. As the days drag on, it gets easy to think negatively about work, hardships with family, even a pile of dirty dishes seems to have us feeling blue sometimes. We need the reminder of Thanksgiving to reconnect with the importance of gratitude, and here at Portable Restroom Trailers, we have a lot to have gratitude for.
Despite the occasional long working hours, the challenge of balancing work and family, and all those struggles that come with maintaining a career and a life outside of it, we are still working for a good cause, with good people we care about, and with time to take care of home. It’s important for all of us to pause and be thankful, especially when the going gets tough. 2021 has definitely had its challenges, but time and time again, we have made it through. As we reflect on another year, our company would like to highlight just a few things we’re thankful for.
1. Work Family
With faces that have been around since the company first started to the new ones that have joined us this year, we are thankful for the team that makes this business productive. From our national sales team that handles deals made for portable restroom trailers to our marketing team that works tirelessly to keep our brand looking fresh, we would not be where we are without them. We look forward to continuing to work and grow together as we learn more about the business, try new things, and accomplish new goals.
2. Disaster Relief
As leading providers for portable restroom trailers, we service a wide variety of industries, and many of these industries may be surprising at first glance. Throughout this year and in the past, we are often one of the first calls that volunteer organizations, community centers, and first responders make when a disaster strikes. What we don’t consider in our everyday lives is that mundane tasks like doing laundry, using a bathroom, or taking a shower are luxuries that should be more appreciated. When those displaced by tragedy lose everything, these simple tasks become a small slice of relief. We are thankful that we can provide a dose of comfort to those in need.
3. Our Founder
There are many reasons to be thankful for our founder, Teri. First, she continues to inspire us with her innovation. When our company first broke into the business, portable restroom rentals were extremely basic, having only what was absolutely necessary. Teri has taken a good concept and made it better by creating a mobile restroom experience with all the amenities of home. We are also thankful for how she inspires us. As a woman in leadership, she continues to break barriers and challenge an industry that has been male dominant for so long. She cares about her staff and is always ready to lend her knowledge and expertise. We couldn’t think of a better boss!
4. Our Growth
So much has changed in the past year. Because our units are able to support other businesses, our portable restroom trailers fleet has grown exponentially. We have added new faces to our team. We have worked with new businesses and seen our revenue continue to rise, allowing us to expand, make our product better, and help nonprofits and communities who need extra assistance during this time. We are thankful for the companies we work with and hope to always make them happy, and are so excited to see what future partnerships come to form.
