A New Restroom Trailer For Liberty State Park
Liberty State Park is a beautiful park in Jersey City, New Jersey, located opposite Liberty Island and Ellis Island. The park originally opened in 1976 during the bicentennial celebration as a gift to our country. There are many attractions throughout the park that make it special.
Two special attractions include Freedom Way and the Liberty Walk Promenade. Freedom Way is a road that winds through the center of the park and separates the public area from an area that is closed to the public. The public area contains numerous bike paths, walkways, and fields that are open to anyone who wants to explore.
The Liberty Walk Promenade is a path that is part of the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. Liberty Walkway travels along the waterfront to the Statue of Liberty overlook, which includes picnic areas, playgrounds, and monuments. This walkway provides beautiful views and easy access to New York’s most iconic attractions.
The park has been working hard to complete renovations from Hurricane Sandy’s destruction. Portable Restroom Trailers has been helping with the process by providing different restroom trailers. Liberty State Park first requested a 6-unit Advantage series portable restroom, and then rented an additional ADA+2 restroom trailer.
Recently, Portable Restroom Trailers and Moss Cape Trailers have worked together to help Liberty State Park find the perfect solution for their guests. The park purchased an ADA+2 Wells Fargo restroom trailer with an Arctic Package from Moss Cape Trailers. The trailer will be located at the boarding point of the ferries that run from Liberty State Park to the Statue of Liberty. The new restroom trailer is a permanent facility solution and will replace the rental that has been there.
This ADA compliant restroom trailer comes with a hydraulic ramp and a spacious ADA suite, making it easily accessible to handicap visitors. It also includes two standard, private individual suites. Additionally, the ADA+2 trailer includes a special Arctic Package in which the trailers are made with extra heating vents, as well as a special heated gel that keeps the pipes from freezing in the cold temperatures. The package prevents the portable restroom from freezing in temperatures of up to fifty below zero, so tours and visits to the park can go on, even during the cold winter months.
