We recently partnered with Rise Up Coffee Roasters, a well known and beloved coffee retailer in Maryland. Learn a little more about their story:
“Rise Up Coffee has been an independent small-batch coffee roaster and retailer since March 2005. Rise Up originated from an explosive combination of ambition and circumstance. Tim Cureton had what would prove to be a life changing coffee experience while traveling home from the Peace Corps service. His love affair with great coffee had begun. Utilizing a $16,000 business loan, Cureton along with co-founder Abby West, opened the first Rise Up Coffee.
Rise Up began as a coffee trailer, before there were TV shows and movies about food trucks. What started in a parking lot in a town with a population of 1,029 has evolved into five high-volume cafe locations, a very active online store and many new exciting wholesale relationships.
Rise Up is known for its people. Now staffed by over a hundred amazing people, among them is Tim’s lifelong friend and business partner, Noah Kegley who joined the company in 2010 and now serves as Head Roaster.
Recently voted ‘Maryland’s Best Coffee’, Rise Up represents 15 years of total dedication to sustainable coffees, Certified Organic + Certified Fair Trade.”

Rise Up Coffee needed to extend their brick-and-mortar restrooms without sacrificing customer experience and brand design. Like all of our ADA portabale restrooms, this unit includes one ADA-compliant suite and two additional unisex suites. Our ADA portable restrooms are special in that with a touch of a button, the unit lowers completely to the ground, allowing for easy access and a ramp with a shorter footprint. Inside of the unit, visitors will find enough room for a full 360 degree turn in a wheelchair. The suite also includes an ADA-compliant shower, grab rails for safety, and an accessible suite.
The unisex suites of this ADA restroom trailer are equipped with a flushable toilet, shatterproof mirror, and sink vanity. We take pride in our interior design, using tasteful colors and designer floors and decor to ensure that users have an elevated experience. Each unit also includes a shower stall with non-slip flooring.
The entire restroom trailer has insulated walls and ceiling to maintain a comfortable interior temperature. Additionally, to aid in climate control, the unit is equipped with air conditioning and heat strips, ensuring that the temperature stays comfortable no matter what outdoor weather is like.
The exterior is built to last with dent-preventing material. We ensure that safe access into this ADA portable restroom is a priority with ample porch lighting and sturdy, aluminum steps and rails. The design is sleek and fits in with any atmosphere, from grassroots to upscale.
