Most recently, a key refinery in Ohio contacted us to arrange several different restroom rentals to support a big expansion project they were planning. The refinery rented several restrooms, and then quickly joined our family of repeat customers when they decided to add an additional restroom after the first units were delivered.
We’re proud to report that the refinery’s management liked our products and service so much that they decided to purchase one of the units outright after their initial rental contract expired. Fueling Commerce and Industry in Ohio
Our client operates a large refinery in western Ohio that processes heavy crude oil to produce fuels and chemical products. Their primary product is gasoline and they also produce diesel fuel, jet fuel, and residual fuels. Their finished product constitutes approximately 25% of the gasoline that is consumed each year in the state of Ohio.
All told, the refinery currently produces about two billion gallons of refined products annually. And when they contacted us, they were preparing for a massive expansion project to drastically increase their production capacity, taking them from 10,000 barrels per day up to 40,000 barrels per day.
The expansion project was an enormous undertaking, with a complicated schedule and implementation plan. The refinery’s employees needed temporary restroom accommodations during the expansion, and they initially reached out to us for three high-capacity restroom rentals for a total of almost 40 individual restroom stalls. When the project got underway, the refinery needed to add an additional unit to accommodate their C-Level Management team, and they relied on PRT to provide a luxury restroom on a tight schedule.
Luxury Restroom Rentals for Executive Managers
After listening to the refinery’s requirements for capacity and amenities, we found a great solution with a custom 11-station unit from
our Calypso line of luxury restroom rentals. The unit needed to reflect the makeup of the refinery’s majority male workforce, so we recommended a custom floor plan with 9 male stations and 2 female stations. This setup ensured ample accommodation for all the executives, with additional capacity for guests and visitors.
Both men’s and women’s suites feature authentic china toilets with convenient pedal-flush mechanisms behind locking privacy stall doors. The men’s suite includes wall-mounted ceramic urinals with privacy dividers. In both suites, locking vanities support beautiful solid surface countertops with under-mount ceramic sinks, in-counter waste baskets, and wood-framed shatterproof glass mirrors.
The interior design is calm and comforting with soft earth-toned walls, designer wood plank flooring, white trim, and dark mocha privacy dividers. For maximum comfort, the entire unit is climate controlled with a low-profile roof-mounted air conditioner and integrated electric heat strips throughout. Optional heating upgrades are available to add cabinet-mounted electric heaters and heated floors.
