JuneBug Retro Resort was no different. Detectable by name, one can assume that this vacation is one that will take visitors back in time. Offering a unique combination of special event venue and camping sites, this is a definitely a visit to add to your list. When JuneBug called us with a restroom rental need, we were excited to learn more about them and how we could contribute to their success.
A CREATIVE SPACE MADE BY EXPERIENTIAL ARTISTS
Despite being new on the map, JuneBug Retro Resort has seen a great amount of success thus far. When envisioning JuneBug’s concept, artistic couple Tom and Charlene wanted to create a vacation destination that took visitors back to the 1950s. For several years, the pair has been collecting mid-century campers and travel trailers, using them to design the perfect property for visitors looking to create memories in the past. As the couple continued development, they got engaged and realized that they wanted to host their wedding on the property that brought them together. This inspired a new concept to add to JuneBug’s offerings. The pair then decided that their property was the perfect spot not only for their wedding, but for others who wanted something unique as a wedding venue as well. They continued to build JuneBug resort with this concept in mind, creating camping spaces and lovely outdoor areas that could be used for weddings and outdoor events. In 2017, the couple tied the knot at JuneBug and has hosted a number of weddings ever since. Those who are interested in visiting the resort can expect a wave of nostalgia to hit them as they enter. The property is covered in retro campers, and despite their outer appearance, guests can expect quite an upscale glamping-style experience. Campers are equipped with many amenities, including a kitchenette with a microwave, mini refrigerator, and gas stove, air conditioning, sewage, a Bluetooth speaker, electricity and water. You’ll get the camping experience with all the added perks of a hotel room. For those planning your special day, JuneBug is the perfect place if you want a vintage or retro-influenced ambiance. The owners themselves got married here, and many have enjoyed having the space all to themselves and their guests during the big day. Since the space is outdoors, it is able to accommodate any number of guests. JuneBug Retro Resort has truly blossomed, and we are so glad to see another unique business find success. When they owners called us with a restroom rental need, we were excited to take on a new challenge.THE PERFECT RESTROOM RENTAL SOLUTION
This resort was in need of a portable restroom rental that was versatile - it needed to be usable for camping guests but also luxurious enough for wedding and event guests. When we realized their need, we suggested the ADA +2 Restroom/ Shower Rental Combo, Molokai Series.
This shower and restroom rental combo is 22 feet long with a 450 gallon waste tank and 225 gallon fresh water tank, perfect for a consistent amount of use throughout the day. The unit features two unisex suites and one ADA-compliant suite. Each suite is fitted with a shower, flushing toilet, sink vanity, and mirror.
This restroom rental was ideal for JuneBug because the exterior has a clean, subtle exterior that doesn’t stand out, making sure the unit doesn’t take away from the retro atmosphere. A bright light is placed at the outside of each restroom suite door, ensuring that access is easy no matter what time, day or night.
Our team also took time designing the interior of the restroom rental, keeping in mind that a wide variety of guests would be using the unit. The designer interior with coordinating accents ensures that an elegant restroom experience is possible for visiting guests of all backgrounds, from campers to wedding guests.
The ADA-compliant restroom suite allows access for all, no matter what disabilities they may have. Meeting the California ADA requirements, which are the highest in the nation, we can ensure that use of our bathroom is safe and easy. The unit is equipped with a flushing toilet, accessible shower, sink vanity, and mirror with added hand-rails for safety. The suite also allows for a full 360-degree turn for guests using a wheelchair.
To ensure that guests can use the restroom rental as comfortably as possible, the unit is equipped with air conditioning and heat strips to ensure that interior temperature is maintained no matter what outside weather may be like.
Finally, this restroom rental has a feature called the Smarter Restrooms App. This app allows restroom managers to monitor system operations from any smart phone, tablet, or laptop. Managers can check waste and fresh water tank levels, monitor unit temperature, run power checks, and more.
