Boardman Local Schools a.k.a The Home of the Spartans starts back to school this week with the anticipation of coming back to a BRAND NEW Boardman Spartan Stadium on September 4th. Although the original stadium has a long history and tradition in the area, it was built in the 1930’s and lacks many of things we have come to expect in modern facilities. Storage areas are non-existent; the varsity team has to use the middle school across the street as a locker room, and most importantly, the lack of code-compliant restroom facilities! Although the opening game of the 2015 season is coming up soon, renovations will continue for a few months so a reliable and convenient long term restroom would be needed so the Spartan fans and visitors can get in, get out and get back to the game quickly!
