What is Resighini Rancheria?
Resighini Rancheria is a Yurok tribe reservation just south of Klamath, California. The 228-acre land was purchased by the U.S. government from a man named Augustus Resighini in 1938. It became a reservation in 1939. The members formed a tribal government approved by the Secretary of Interior in 1975.
A 2010 US Census shows the area had a population of just 31 people.
The people of the land maintain aspects of cultural life. They perform traditional dances. They also engage in cultural conventions like gathering seaweed, storytelling, and using marine resources for sustenance and basket making.
The Cher-ere Bridge Campground sits at the top of the Klamath River estuary. It is an ideal getaway for fishing and exploring nature. It is considered a magical area.
Resighini Rancheria’s Laundry Trailer
Resighini Rancheria needed a laundry trailer that would accommodate the guests on their campground. They required one with restrooms and showers included. They chose the 3 Station Shower Trailer Restroom Combo and large Laundry Suite Oahu Series.
The shower/restroom/laundry trailer is a 29-foot spacious unit. Its laundry suite features three stacked Speed Queen washer/dryer units. It also has a folding table.
The unit has three additional unisex suites. Each features a shower stall, toilet, and sink. It also has hook-ups for an ice maker with inline filtration (ice maker not included).
Guests will enjoy the comfort of hot water thanks to the LP on-demand water heater with propane tanks and the electric hot water hand wash. Other features include a 300-gallon freshwater tank, a 900-gallon waste tank, and a greywater diverter valve.
Owners can control the unit using the Smarter Restrooms App. The app allows you to monitor the trailer’s systems from any device. You can use it to check on the freshwater and waste tank levels, the power, and the climate control.
