Portable Restroom Trailers, LLC offers portable restrooms for short and long term rentals. Long-term rentals are great prolonged construction projects and seasonal venues, among other things. Kings Dominion is one location that needed to address restroom facilities on site for an extended period of time. The theme park, located in Doswell, Virginia, contracted with Portable Restroom Trailers, LLC for a 5 month rental beginning in mid-April.
Owned by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, Kings Dominion is a 400-acre theme park 20 miles north of Richmond and 75 miles south of Washington D.C. The park offers over 60 rides, including 14 roller coasters, shows and other attractions. The amusement park also features a 20-acre water park called Soak City. This section of the park includes waterslides, a lazy river, a splash pool, a wave pool, and other attractions to help guests cool down, soak up the sun, and enjoy summer to the fullest.
Ensuring guests have the best experience at Soak City, Kings Dominion rented an Elite ADA +2 station Restroom Trailer with Beach Package. The restroom trailer has been placed close to the wave pool, to provide convenient restroom facilities for guests that rent cabanas. In addition, the fully compliant, handicapped accessible trailer fulfilled a very important need for ADA facilities in this part of the park.

The Elite ADA +2 station is one of Portable Restroom Trailers’ most popular ADA compliant trailers. It features a beautiful earth tone interior with coordinating designer countertops and flooring. The unique floor plan includes 1 women’s suite, 1 men’s suite, and 1 ADA unisex suite. Each has a separate entrance, and a hydraulic lift system allows the entire restroom trailer and ramp to lower to the ground with the push of a button.

The women’s suite includes 1 water-saving china flushable toilet, wall-to-wall lockable vanity with large shatter-proof mirror, full hand wash, and in-counter wastebasket with soap and paper-towel dispenser and toilet-paper holder. The men’s suite includes 1 water-saving china flushable toilet and urinal, wall-to-wall lockable vanity with large shatter-proof mirror, full hand wash, and in-counter wastebasket with soap and paper-towel dispenser and toilet-paper holder. The ADA-compliant unisex suite includes 1 wheelchair-accessible sink, faucet, and door handle; and 1 water-saving china flushable toilet with mounted push button control module. The ADA suite also allows for a full 360 turning radius for wheelchairs and additional assistance grab rails.
