Almost a year ago, the iconic renewal center Harbin Hot Springs in Middletown, CA was reduced to ashes by the Valley fire.
Almost as quickly as the fire consumed the popular destination, however, the management vowed to rebuild. The rebuilding efforts are being fueled by crowdsource fundraising efforts via their website.
Their aggressive rebuilding plan includes a three stage reopening process. Harbin Hot Springs  will reopen in the first stage on a very limited basis. Daytime guests and campers will have access to the pools, a reception area, massage services, and food service area.  Additionally,  portable ADA compliant restrooms (Classic Series 4 station + ADA Portable Restrooms shower trailer combo) will be supplied by Portable Restroom Trailers, LLC.

The next phase is scheduled to begin in the Fall, with completion in early 2017. This phase will encompass rebuilding the buildings they lost in the fire, including the overnight cottages.
Per the announcement:
While day visitors and campers have access to the pools, we will begin rebuilding select buildings that were destroyed in the fire, including twelve Grove Cottages for overnight guests, and a replacement structure for Domes 1 & 2. A pool-area dressing room will be added on main side, as will a camping-area pool complex with a guest kitchen and small grocery market. The third phase will be returning the resort to full staffing and operation and is expected to be complete in mid 2019.
