This weekend, May 9 -10, the city of Kannapolis, NC will be swarming with people from all over. The city will be hosting the 2nd Annual Jiggy with the Piggy BBQ Challenge. There will be over 70 teams cooking up some BBQ and competing for the more than $20,000 purse.
In addition to the cook off, there will be a Village Jiggy Jam Festival where there will be movies (kid-friendly), a 5K race, and live entertainment. There will also be various craft vendors selling their cool creations. If you’re going to be in town, it will be a great way for the family to spend the weekend outdoors and still be entertained. In fact, it’s just in time for Mother’s Day, so take your loved one out for some great BBQ and entertainment!
In order to help keep everyone safe and healthy, Portable Restroom Trailers, Inc. will be providing the portable restrooms and hand wash stations for the event. A large 11-station Executive Series restroom trailer will be available for those participating in the BBQ Challenge. The restroom trailer is fully climate controlled to keep the competitors cool and comfortable. Men and women will each have their own private suites. The men will have five full stalls and four flushable urinals, as well as four large sinks with hot water to keep hands sanitary and food safe. The women’s side will have two private, lockable stalls and a large vanity, also with hot water for hand washing.
For the rest of the festivities going on, no need to worry about sticky, dirty, messy hands. There will be plenty of portable restrooms and hand wash stations located throughout the grounds. We realize that clean restrooms and readily available hand wash stations are essential to the success of this event. We want you to stay safe and healthy, eat good food, and have lots of fun!
