Use duct tape to hold it in place, about every 12 inches. Put foam tube insulation around the hose and heat tape. Leave the plugs and power lights uncovered. Run duct tape down the insulation, leaving the connecting ends, plugs and power lights uncovered. If you cover them, you will not be able to connect the water or power. Leave test lights and power lights uncovered (for testing and to be sure the hose remains working).   CREATE A BOX Place two 1500-watt electric heaters under the unit. Be sure you have sufficient power! Build a 2×2 or 2×4 wood frame to fit underneath each side of the unit. This is going to box the bottom of the outside of the unit. Fill any gaps with insulation Cut ½” plywood to fit frame for each side. Be sure to consider stairs when cutting your wood. Stairs should be out and in place before measuring. Measure and cut out a 6”x6” square to cover the drain access. Attach this with hinges so you can access the drain when needed. This will protect drain valve from freezing. Eliminate gaps and holes on the tongue side of the unit with R-13 (or greater) insulation. Staple insulation inside the wood box Cut a piece of insulation in half and lay it on the ground where the box will be placed. This eliminates gaps between the wood and the ground.   AFTER PLYWOOD IS ATTACHED Fill any small gaps on the top and bottom of the box with insulation Staple bubble wrap around the outside of the wood unit. This closes of gaps and keeps cold air out and heat in. Use electrical tape to cover plug connections that will remain outside.   FOR UNITS NOT IN USE FOR THE WINTER Eliminate the use of power and water until the unit is ready to be used again. Drain water from all the lines. When a natural disaster strikes, it falls on the shoulders of city managers to provide the proper assistance and facilities to get communities back on their feet. They partner with nonprofits, municipalities companies, first responders, and more to provide assistance for all who need it. Recently, the city of Memphis recovered from a damaging tornado, and we were happy to step in and supply restroom trailers as added relief. WREG Memphis reported that “A preliminary estimate by NWS on Monday indicated the tornado took a 1.4-mile path through the Parkway Village area. But Friday, NWS published an updated graphic showing the tornado cutting a swath from Memphis International Airport northeast to the Balmoral area east of the I-240 loop — a distance of 7.4 miles. Winds were estimated at 105 mph. as the twister touched down for nine minutes, beginning at 6:34 a.m. No one was injured in the tornado, but numerous homes and at least one apartment complex were severely damaged. The Red Cross reported assisting more than 60 people who had been displaced from the Cottonwood Apartments complex. Mayor Jim Strickland said 41 of the 47 buildings at the Cottonwood Apartments were damaged, and 16 have been deemed structurally unsafe. Residents in coordination with the property owner and the city are finding other housing arrangements.”  As the city began dealing with the damage done by the tornado, they realized they’d need other tools to assist with disaster relief. The interior is fitted with non-skid rubber flooring to ensure that guests can shower safely without worrying about slipping. Eight private showers await each visitor, and curtains ensure plenty of privacy during use. The entire unit is insulated to ensure that the interior temperature stays comfortable despite outside weather conditions. It also comes with air conditioning and heat strips, which help keep the temperature that much more comfortable. With a tankless hot water system and showers that are very user friendly, the Classic Series Shower Trailer Rental is equipped for high volume use, easily providing each user with a positive shower experience. The other option that was a fit for them was built to provide shower accessibility for all. The ADA +2 Station Oahu Series is 20 foot restroom trailer that is fitted with a 135 gallon fresh water tank and 300 gallon waste tank. The exterior is simple and cleanly designed, reinforced to prevent scratches and dents. Each suite is accessible by sturdy, aluminum steps and rails for safety, and the ADA suite comes with a short ramp for easy wheelchair access. Like many of our restroom trailers, the exterior is clean and durable, built with scratch and dent-proof material. Each suite of this restroom rental is completely private with separate entrances for each. The outside of each door comes with ample lighting to ensure that access is safe no matter what time day or night.  Guests are greeted with a clean designer interior, each equipped with a shower, flushable china toilet, sink vanity, and mirror. The ADA suite, which is also spacious enough to double as a family restroom suite, is designed to make both the shower and toilet accessible for all with disabilities. The ADA restroom suite can lower to the ground with the touch of a button, making access easy and allowing for a shorter ramp that takes up a much smaller footprint. To ensure guests are always comfortable, this ADA restroom rental has air conditioning and heat strips to guarantee that the temperature stays comfortable no matter what outside weather is like.
