Portable Restroom Trailers Goes to Camp

One Step Summer Camp is a kid’s camp located on Lake Geneva in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. It’s a little extra special: this camp is for children battling cancer. The concept of this camp is that just because a child has cancer doesn’t mean that he or she can’t get the same childhood experiences and memories that other kids have. The summer camp has many different programs ranging from standard summer camp to a camp that focuses on water sports or even one that focuses on adventuring. The programs are for children from seven years old to nineteen years old so that everyone has the opportunity to make friends and have fun with other kids that understand what they are going through. As summer camps are starting this month one hundred more kids have signed up for the camp and more kids means more restroom needs. With the influx of campers the camp decided to purchase two more restroom trailers from Portable Restroom Trailers. They have purchased an 8 unit shower combo trailer and a 12ft ADA trailer. The trailers provide a clean, safe and comfortable restroom for both the campers and the counselors. The shower trailer has toilets as well as showers. Because the camp is on a lake the shower trailer is the perfect choice because it gives the kids a private place to rinse of after a fun filled day of activities. The camp also bought a smaller ADA compliant trailer. Our ADA restroom trailers provide the same amenities as all our other restroom trailers with an added bonus of being handicap accessible. The ADA trailers have a no slip ramp and the restroom is large enough for a full 360 degree rotation of a wheelchair. These features provide a safe portable restroom for the kids that may be in a wheelchair or the kids that have limitations because of certain cancers.Imagine knowing that your kids have the benefit of a great summer camp, a clean, safe, private and comfortable restroom, and they are at a lake! We are proud to help a camp that has such a great mission. Keep it up One Step Summer camp!

Arctic Restroom Trailer Packages for Arctic Weather

We’ve had a pretty cold and snowy winter all around the country thus far. For instance, in January alone, we’ve had Winter Storm Hercules who wreaked havoc with sub zero temps and piles of snow in the Midwest and Northeast, and just today, Winter Storm Janus who dumped about a foot of snow or more from Mid-Atlantic to southern New England. In order to keep things moving through all this crazy wintery mayhem, whether you have an outdoor work site, or you’re remodeling, or you’re hosting a large event, you may need a portable restroom trailer that will provide the extra space but that can function in the coldest, most grueling weather. Restroom trailers can come equipped with a full winterization package so that things can still operate smoothly without any delay. The package might include full climate control so you can utilize the heat, which may be baseboard heating or hot air, special seat covers to protect you from a cold toilet seat, and waste tank thermal protection so there’s no freezing tank or pipe issues. Some models even come with a working fireplace to create that at-home warm feeling. It’s all designed to make your life easier.Depending on where you are around the country, you may be experiencing unusually cold temperatures or massive amounts of snow, or both. And according to the Farmer’s Almanac, it’s not going to get better anytime soon. As a matter of fact, it’s predicting a frigid and possibly messy 2014 Super Bowl. So if you’re planning a Super Bowl party, get ready with lots of hot chocolate and warm snacks, and let Portable Restroom Trailers handle the bathroom accommodations for you.

Restroom Trailers In The Military

Since 1775 women have served in various roles within the U.S. military. The largest number of women in the military was at an all time high during World War II, but most were discharged afterwards. The 70’s brought change and there was a climb in numbers of military women, with its peak in the late 80’s. Then in the late 90’s there was a substantial dip in the number of women serving, but once again women in the military are on the rise. Today there are more than 200,000 women in active duty, according to the Pentagon. To accommodate the large demographic of women serving, the government has had to come up with some modifications. Women and men need their own separate and private quarters, whether it’s for sleeping, showers, or bathrooms. Yet they need facilities that still correspond with the high standards of the military…good quality, safe, and sanitary. The demand for better restroom and shower facilities is now higher. That’s why the government has been testing restroom and shower trailers, as far as demographics go, so they can customize the trailers and place them in locations according to the results they find.Restroom trailers and restroom/shower combo trailers are perfect solutions. They can be modified and customized to fit specific needs. As well, the mobility and the combination of both amenities together is the ultimate convenience.Women in the military today are a new generation and have paved new roads, but they have integrated easily and their valuable contributions bring balance to the military. Thank you to all those serving in the military…we salute you!
